Illini Pride Structure

Illini Pride consists of three branches: Block I, Orange Krush, and Olympic. They each have their special roles as described under the “Sections” tab, but they all work together to create the best gameday experiences for everyone involved. Each branch consists of several chairs who serve on our Illini Pride Executive Board and help carry out those experiences for students. Descriptions of each chair position can be found below. Please follow our social media accounts (@Illinipride, @illinoisblockI, @illini_okrush, and @illiniprideolympic) for the most up-to-date info when applications are live!

Communications Chair: Communications chairs will work with the Vice President of Communications to document and promote Block I events throughout the season.

In-Game Chair(s): The In-game chairs are responsible for creating the in-game hype atmosphere and spearheading the formation and design of our famous card stunts.

Blockhead Chair: The Blockhead chair will oversee coordination of blockheads on game days and create a welcoming, cohesive Block I FamILLy.

Outreach Chair: The Outreach chair oversees events and philanthropy projects, as well as planning sideline sessions with Olympic. They will also reach out to other campus organizations to set up community service opportunities and plan the annual Block I road trip.
