About the Pool Sharks

Our Sports > Women's > Pool Sharks > About The Pool Sharks

The Pool Sharks is one of the newest fan sections in Illini Pride. They are the University of Illinois’ Official Swimming & Diving fan section. The Swimming & Diving team competes in the recently renovated Activities and Recreation Center (ARC)—one of the largest on campus recreation centers in the country. The Pool Sharks' goal is to cheer on the Women's Swimming & Diving Team to a victory.

Fans sit pool-side, at one of the premiere swimming & diving pools in the Big Ten, to give our swimmers and divers the edge they need to win!

Joining the Pool Sharks is a simple process that is filled with rewards and lots of fun! All you need to do is join Illini Pride and then begin attending home Swimming & Diving meets. Upon arriving at a meet, check-in with one of the Swimming & Diving Chairs to begin accruing attendance points and to be entered in raffles.
