1. Where does the Men’s Baseball Team host their games?
Home for the Illini baseball team is at Illinois Field, located on Florida Avenue near the Soccer & Track Stadium, Biefeldt Athletic Administration Building, and the Atkins outdoor tennis courts. The Illini have played here since 1988, and the field was renovated in 1999, making it one of the few fields in the Big 10 where night games can be played. Illinois field permanently seats 1,500 and can seat up to 3,000 on the lawn. [See it on a map]


2. Do I have to be a member of Illini Pride to join Grounds Crew?
In order to become a member of the Illinois student cheering section, the Grounds Crew, you must be a member of Illini Pride. You can sign up at one of the various sign up days that take place throughout the year. After joining Illini Pride, you are able to become a member of the Grounds Crew.


3. When does the Illini baseball season take place?
Games for the Illini baseball team typically start in the end of February; however, home games do not usually begin until the end of March. The season lasts through the end of May, when the Big 10 tournament takes place, and into the beginning of June, which brings the NCAA tournament.


4. If I am not a student, but want to be more involved with the Illini baseball team, how can am I able to do this?
