Illini Pride is not only about cheering on our favorite sports teams, it's about giving back to the local community. All year round, Illini Pride works hard to find philanthropic opportunities that will allow members to give back to the local community.
This year, Illini Pride has helped the community out more than ever before! With two successful blood drives and an Orange Krush food drive, IP has given back in so many ways and we're not done!
To close out the year, IP Philanthropy has a ton of upcoming events that will allow you to get involved with the community! On February 26th, Illini Pride is challenging the members of Orange Krush to donate the same amount offood as the rest of Assembly Hall! If Krush is able to accomplish this task, ALL donating members will receive a prize!
All IP members are invited to write letters to the Fighting Illini Basketball team as apart of the 2nd Annual Illini Letters. Members can submit letters by clicking on Illini Letters under the Information Tab. Everyone is encouraged to send in as many letters as they'd like! The letters will be presented to the team before they leave for the Big Ten Tournament so get those letters in no later than March 6th! All letters submitted will be entered into a raffle to win a jersey of your choice! Get writing!
Check back here to find out more information about our end of the year events, including an April 6th Blood Drive, a Sports Equipment Drive at the end of April and an upcoming opportunity to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity!
Keep helping others and GO ILLINI!
